Pageant
The MISS GREENE COUNTY & MISS GREENE COUNTY TEEN 2009 Pageant is a competition that advances and supports local women in Greene County, New York. The titleholders of the Miss Greene County Pageants will personify the combination of beauty, intelligence, and success while becoming a role model for the aspiring. The winners will meet local and state dignitaries, participate in charity and social events, speaking on various topics, and getting the education, values, and experiences needed to assist in the fulfillment of her career goals.
Founded and independently owned and operated by Astara Enterprises, Inc., Miss Greene County is looking for delegates who will represent all young women throughout the county. The winners may not score the highest in any one particular category but will do well in all events. They will be young women who possess the entire package of poise, personality, intelligence and beauty. They should understand that, along with the prizes and glamour, there comes a responsibility that they must uphold to the pageant system, sponsors, community and their county.

DANIELLE TERESA LANUTO In 2007, Danielle Teresa Lanuto had no idea what impact a single event would have on her life. Growing up in Greene County, New York Danielle always followed her dreams and took a shot at something that most people wouldn’t have. For that reason she is now a MISS NEW YORK USA 2008 State Finalist. After competing in such a prestigious pageant, Danielle decided to bring some of the same opportunities to the women in her home area. She feels this will be a great way to lend a hand to help these young women recognize opportunities that come their way each day. Many people think pageants are just about beauty and don’t realize the confidence and poise you acquire after competing. |
Danielle is an Interior Designer, Fashion Consultant, Event Planner and owner of Astara Enterprises, Inc. As the Executive Director of Astara Enterprises, Inc.’s pageant division Danielle is sure to bring an updated modern edge to the MISS GREENE COUNTY & MISS GREENE COUNTY TEEN 2009 pageant.

ANGELA LANUTO As a professional in the event planning, marketing, and entertainment industry for over 10 years, Angela Lanuto has worked with a variety of high level and private clients. She has planned events for various Fortune 500 companies including Fisher-Price, Thompson Law, Proctor and Gamble, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and more as well as educational and private companies such as Plattsburgh State University, 93.9fm WQKE, 103.9fm The Edge, Vacation Connections, and R.E.A.L.M along with corporate and individual clients in the profit and non-profit sectors. |
An entrepreneur and public speaker, Angela owns and operates Divine Enlightenment, a unique and inspirational retail store; and Angela Lanuto Consulting, event planner, marketing consultant and personal manager; as well as Astara Enterprises, Inc. Guiding individuals to see their dreams become a reality is a passion that Angela has and feels that the MISS GREENE COUNTY/MISS GREENE COUNTY TEEN pageant will be able to bring young women the skills they need to build confidence, poise and strength along with the networking opportunities to help them in both their professional and personal lives.
